999 Games Bread and Beer Board Game
Bread and Beer is a strategic game for 2 players. By playing cards, you harvest resources, improve your village, and sell bread and beer. Each card can be used in three different ways. Slide the card above the game board for a harvest, below the game board for a village expansion, or discard the card to sell bread and beer. The way you receive cards depends on the round. During a strong year, you pass cards back and forth, choosing one to play each time. During a lean year, you have to make do with the cards you receive, although you can trade a limited number of cards using the trading card field. Whoever has produced the most bread or beer after six rounds wins. But there's a catch: the card you produced the least determines your final score. So, you lose if you invested heavily in bread while your beer production remained very limited.
